How to use another USB Type C cable with Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera D400-Series
Description
Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera D415 - will it work with other USB type C cables as the one provided is a little bit too short and to rigid. I did try it with other USB C cables but is not recognizing the camera. Can you provide suitable a replacement cable that can be used?
Resolution
It is strongly recommended to use the cable that came with the camera.
There are RealSense users that have successfully used RealSense cameras with other types of USB Type C cables, but those solutions have not been validated by Intel, which means that they may or may not work.
Here* is an example of RealSense D435 being used with Newnex* cables.
