How to Verify Hardware Compatibility between Several Devices

Resolution

Steps towards a solution:

  1. Go to the Product Specifications page. 
  2. Type in the board/system model where it reads, Search Specifications.
  3. Click where it reads, Compatible Products.
  4. Locate the devices where compatibility needs to be verified.
  5. Repeat the process for all the devices.

For compatibility information about memory and hard drive, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Server Configurator & Compatibility Tools page.
  2. Locate the server board model.
  3. Click on the associated Compatibility Tool button.
  4. Select the chassis.
Note
  • You can sort out the displayed list of compatible items by using the presented filters (Category, Vendor, Part Number, etc.).
  • You can click on the Export button located at the top of the list of compatible products, if necessary, to retrieve the list as a Microsoft* Excel sheet.
