Troubleshooting may include moving Intel® Ethernet Adapter to different slots to see if device manager detected when computer doesn't detect NIC.
My computer doesn't see this NIC even though I have moved it to several different slots. Intel's software tells me that no cards are present.
When experiencing issues with an Ethernet adapter:
1. Move the adapter to different slots and confirm in the device manager if it is detected.
2. If the adapter is not found then to validate the coverage contact we need the MAC Address and Product Identification. To submit this, create a support request including a picture (both sides of the adapter) so we may check it for you.
