Description

The SSD is no longer functioning: cannot format, partition, or access drive partitions.

Resolution

If your drive is inaccessible, cannot be formatted, or partitions could not be accessed, follow the troubleshooting guidance below.

Make sure you're using the latest firmware. You can use the Intel® Memory and Storage Tool (GUI) or the Intel Firmware Update Tool for updating the firmware of the drive.
Perform a secure erase on the drive. Refer to the links below for doing a low level format:
