Installation process:
- Unzip the zip file downloaded previously to a temporary folder.
- Run the Setup.exe.
Note You may be prompted to first install the Visual C++ redistributable and the OpenSLP required by the RWC3 depending on your current software configuration. - Follow the installer's guidance to complete the installation setup.
- Choose the appropriate Setup Type that best suits your needs, if unsure, choose Gateway.
- For Port Configuration Settings, you may choose to use different ports than the default one to meet your network environment needs. If unsure, keep the default port numbers.
- A shortcut to launch RWC3 should be generated on the desktop once the installation is complete.
Note | You can also launch RWC3 by opening the URL https://localhost:2463 on a web browser. If you have changed the default web server port number, replace 2463 with your port number. |
Uninstalling process:
- Right-click the Windows (start) icon.
- Select Apps and Features / Programs and Features.
- Select RAID Web Console 3 and click Uninstall.
- (Optional) You may uninstall OpenSLP if this is not used by other software applications on your system.
You can install Intel® RWC3 on any system (including a virtual machine) that has a supported operating system (OS). However, Intel RWC3 supports only select hardware: Intel® RAID Controllers and the Intel® Embedded Server RAID Technology 2 (ESRT2). Refer to the release notes for the full list of supported Intel® RAID Controllers.
Intel RWC3 does not support Intel® Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel® VROC)/Intel® Rapid Storage Technology enterprise (Intel® RSTe).
