Changing the boot order on an Intel® Server Board or Intel® Server System is required in some instances when installing an operating system or using the Intel® Deployment Assistant tool.

How do I change the boot order to a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM media?

  1. Press <F2> to enter system BIOS setup.
  2. Go to the Boot Options menu.
  3. Choose Boot Option#1 and press the Enter key.
  4. Choose the DVD-ROM or CD-ROM drive to use for your first boot option.
  5. Press the Enter key to confirm your selection.
  6. Press <F10> to save and reboot.
