You can set the Intel® Server Board BIOS to pause at the end of POST. This change gives you time to press F2 to enter BIOS or other boot option keys.
How do I change the System Boot Timeout setting?
In the initial setup screen, go to Setup Menu > Boot Maintenance Manager > Advanced Boot Options.
Change the System Boot Timeout setting by entering the number of seconds you want the BIOS to pause.
The boot options above the logo screen hold for the time set. The seconds remaining display shows at the bottom of the screen:
Note | An alternative option is to click the Pause/Break button on the keyboard during POST. Hit Enter to continue with the process. |
