Frequently Asked Questions about Intel® Graphics and Windows 7*
Where can I download Intel® Graphics Drivers that support the Windows 7* operating system?
Starting with the Intel® 945 Express Chipset Family, Intel has generic versions of the Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows 7. These drivers are available in the Download Center. If you encounter a problem with the generic driver, reinstall the validated driver from your computer manufacturer.
For an older Intel® Express Chipset, the integrated graphics controller can support Windows 7 using XPDM drivers.
Note | To avoid compatibility issues, ask your computer manufacturer if Windows 7 is a supported operating system, and if a driver update is available. Some manufacturers require their customized drivers be used for specific computer models. |
