Summary:
Potential security vulnerabilities in some Intel® Ethernet Controllers and Adapters may allow escalation of privilege or denial of service. Intel is releasing firmware and software updates to mitigate these potential vulnerabilities.

Recommendation:
Intel recommends updating the software for impacted Intel® 800 Series Ethernet Driver to the versions provided below or later.
For the Intel® 800 Series Ethernet Linux Kernel Mode Driver issues:
- CVE-2024-23981, CVE-2024-21810, CVE-2024-21807, CVE-2024-23497, CVE-2024-24986, CVE-2024-23499:
- Update to the Intel® Ethernet Adapter Complete Driver Pack versions 28.3 or later.
- CVE-2024-23499:
- For the Linux Kernel in-tree driver specific patch, update to the latest commit available at this Git location.
For the Intel® Ethernet Controllers E800 Series issue:
- Update to NVM image versions 4.4 or higher included with the Intel® Ethernet Adapter Complete Driver Pack versions 28.3 or higher.
- Update to NVM image version 3.36 or higher included Intel® Ethernet Adapter Complete Driver Pack versions 28.3 or later.
For the Windows Installer issue:
- CVE-2024-21769
- Update to the Intel® Ethernet Adapter Complete Driver Pack versions 28.3 or later.
