Bishnu Patra received both a MS and a PhD degree in electrical engineering (microelectronics) from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands—in 2016 and 2021, respectively. Dr. Patra took a position working as a research scientist at Intel Labs in Hillsboro, Oregon in 2021, where he still works. His current research interests include radio frequency integrated circuits and cryogenic electronics for quantum computing applications.
Dr. Patra was a co-recipient of 2022 IEEE CICC Best Paper Award, 2020 IEEE ISSCC Jan Van Vessem Award for Outstanding European Paper, and 2019-20 IEEE SSCS Predoctoral Achievement Award. He is currently serving as technical committee member of IEEE MTT-S Quantum Information Systems and Applications Committee.
