I/O Maximum Toggle Rate logic option
Allows you to specify the frequency at which a pin toggles. This option directs the Fitter to allow a single-ended pin to be placed closer to a differential pin.
This option is useful for analyzing signal integrity under worst-case conditions, that is, the highest possible toggle rate.
The Fitter ignores this option if applied to anything other than a pin.
To specify the expected time-averaged toggle rate rather than worst-case toggle rate, use the Power Toggle Rate logic option. The Power Analyzer uses the Power Toggle Rate logic option to estimate time-averaged power consumption. To configure the data rates used for metastability reporting in the Timing Analyzer, use the Synchronizer Toggle Rate logic option.
