File Properties Dialog Box (Shortcut Menu)

You open this dialog box by right-clicking a file name in the Files tab, and then clicking Properties.

Displays the name, type, and user library information about a file, and allows you to change the third-party EDA tool for the file.

The Properties command is available for all design entities shown on the Hierarchy tab, and all of the files and design units shown on the Files, Design Units and IP Components tabs. You can view design units only after you compile a design.
