rubberbanding Definition
A feature in the Block and Symbol Editors that, when turned on, allows you to move symbols and areas without losing signal connectivity. When rubberbanding is on, a line that connects two symbols bends and stretches to maintain the connection when you move one of the symbols.
A feature in the Timing Closure floorplan that, when turned on, maintains the fan-in and fan-out connections for a node or Logic Lock region when you move the node or Logic Lock region within the Timing Closure floorplan.
A feature in the State Machine Editor that, when turned on, provides automatic transition routing for state machines in the diagram view, reducing drawing time and providing uniform transition arcs.
