Spreadsheet
The Spreadsheet displays the assignments created for the current design, and allows you to create new assignments, and edit or delete existing assignments. To create a new row, use the New Assignment button in the Filter, or click the final row of the Spreadsheet, and then enter values in each column.
The Spreadsheet provides assignment-specific pull-down menus and validity checking when creating new assignments. You can either type values or select them from a list, after specifying an assignment in the Assignment Name column.
The Status column reports missing assignment names, values, entities, or node names. It also reports complete assignments to names that are not found in the post-synthesis design hierarchy. When the node or entity exists in the design hierarchy, and the assignment name is accompanied by a valid value, the status column reports that the assignment is valid. The following table describes the icons displayed in the Status column:
Status Column Icon |

Such assignments are ignored by the Intel® Quartus® Prime software. Node and entity names for these assignments are also preceded by a question mark icon in the To column. |

In the Spreadsheet, a selected cell appears with a blue background. If a cell cannot be edited and contains a value, the text appears in light gray. If a cell does not contain a value and cannot be edited, for example, the cells in the From column in single-point assignments such as the Inverted Clock timing assignment, the cell appears with a gray background.
More columns are available in the Spreadsheet than are displayed by default. To make additional information visible, right-click a cell, and then click Customize Columns.
