Library Mapping File
Specifies Intel-provided Library Mapping File (.lmf) Definition for use by the Intel® Quartus® Prime software in compiling VHDL Design File (.vhd) Definition that contain non-Intel® Quartus® Prime function(s) that need to be mapped to Intel® Quartus® Prime functions.
You can specify the full path name of the LMF in the File name box, or you can click ... to locate the LMF.
If a VHDL Design File contains VHDL primitives that have Component Declarations in the maxplus2 package (which is in the \quartus\libraries\vhdl\altera directory), you must specify maxplus2.lmf as the LMF for the VHDL Design File. The maxplus2.lmf is located in the \quartus\lmf\ directory. You can specify an LMF in the File name box in the EDA Tool Input Settings dialog box, which is available from the EDA Tool Settings page of the Settings: dialog box.
