Dedicated circuitry inside gigabit transceiver block (GXB) receiver channels for supported( Cyclone^® series, MAX^® II, MAX^® V, and Stratix^® series) devices that aligns bits within a deserialized bus. The word aligner rotates the bits in a bus to set bit 0 in the appropriate position.
