revision description file Definition

A text file, named <revision name>_description.txt, that contains information about a revision. This information includes the revision name; when you created the revision; whether the revision is based on another revision; and any information you typed in the Description box in the Create Revision dialog box, which is available from the Revisions dialog box on the Project menu, in the Description box in the Revisions dialog box, or in the Description box in the General page of the Settings dialog box on the Assignments menu.
