Quartus^® Prime Exported Partition File (.qxp) Definition

A binary file that contains compilation results describing the exported design partition and includes either a post-fit or post-synthesis netlist, or both. The Quartus^® Prime Exported Partition File also contains LogicLock^® Plus region and other partition assignments.

You can generate a Quartus^® Prime Exported Partition File with the Export Project as Design Partition command. The Import Design Partition dialog box uses the Quartus^® Prime Exported Partition File as input when importing a sub-design.
