library of parameterized modules (LPM) Definition
A technology-independent library of logic functions that are parameterized to achieve scalability and adaptability. Intel has implemented parameterized modules (also called "parameterized functions") from LPM version 2.2.0 that offer architecture-independent design entry for all devices supported by the Quartus® Prime software. The Quartus® Prime Compiler includes built-in compilation support for LPM functions used in schematic, AHDL, VHDL, Verilog HDL, and EDIF input files.
