Routing Region
The routing region is an attribute attached to an existing
LogicLock® Plus placement region. The routing region must
encompass the existing
LogicLock® Plus placement region.
To define the routing region, double-click the Routing Region cell in the
LogicLock® Plus Regions window, and
select from the drop-down menu.
Valid Routing Region options are:
- Unconstrained—the routing shape has no constraints.
- Whole chip—allocates the entire chip for the routing shape.
- Fixed with expansion—allocates an expansion length for the routing shape.
-
Custom—Allows you to make a custom shape routing region around the LogicLock® Plus region. When you select the Custom option, the placement and routing regions move independently in the Chip Planner.
Note: The routing
shape must fully include the placement shape.
You set the routing region in the LogicLock® Plus Routing Region Settings dialog box. Open this dialog box by clicking the Routing Region column for your region.
