Saving a report window messages or logical memories section:

To save a Report window Messages or Logical Memories report as its own file:

  1. If you have not already done so, open the Report window.
  2. If you have not already done so, open the report type you want to save from the Messages or Logical Memories reports.
  3. On the File menu, clickSave Current Report Section As.
  4. If you are saving a Simulation Waveforms report, in the Save as type list, select Vector Table Output File (.tbl) to save the report as a Vector Table Output File (.tbl) or Vector Waveform File (.vwf) to save the report as a Vector Waveform File (.vwf).
  5. If you are saving a Logical Memories report , in the Save as type list, select Hexadecimal File (.hex) to save the report as a Hexadecimal File (.hex), Memory Initialization File (.mif) to save the report as a Memory Initialization File (.mif), or Value Change Dump File (.vcd) to save the report as a Value Change Dump File (.vcd).
  6. In the File name box, type a name for the file you want to create.

    In the Files list, select the name of an existing file you want to overwrite.

  7. Click Save.
