Power Optimization Advisor Command (Tools Menu)
This feature only supports the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition. You
open this advisor by pointing to Advisors on the Tools menu and then
clicking Power Optimization Advisor.
The Power Optimization Advisor provides recommendations on estimating and reducing power usage in a design for the following categories:
- General recommendations
- Stage 1— Dynamic and Static Power recommendations
- Stage 2— Appropriate I/O Standards, Use DSP Block, Use RAM Block, Clock Enables on Logic, Pipeline Logic to Reduce Glitching, and Stop Clock When Idle
