Add State Machine Nodes Dialog Box

You open this dialog box by clicking Add State Machine Nodes on the Edit menu. This dialog box is available only when the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer window is open.

Allows you to select state machines from your design to add to your SignalTap II File (.stp) Definition.

Netlist:

Allows you to select Pre-synthesis or Post-fitting state machine nodes to display in the State Machine name column.

Important: You must enable the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer and compile your design before you can see the post-fitting state machine in the Add State Machine Nodes dialog box.

State machine nodes found:

  • State Machine Name— Lists the state machine nodes found in your design.
  • Mnemonic Table Name— Lists the mnemonic table names found in your design.
