Routing Region

A routing region constrains routing to a specific area. You use a routing region with a corresponding placement region; the routing region must fully contain the placement region, and routing regions cannot overlap.
  • Unconstrained—the routing shape has no constraints.
  • Whole chip—allocates the entire chip for the routing shape.
  • Fixed with expansion—allocates an expansion length for the routing shape.
  • Custom—allows you to manually add a custom routing shape and set the Height, Width, and Origin.

Note: The routing shape must fully include the placement shape.

You set the routing region in the LogicLock® Plus Routing Region Settings dialog box. Open this dialog box by clicking the Routing Region column for your region.
