Preparing for EDA Simulation

You can simulate your Quartus® Prime design to ensure correct behavior once downloaded to an Intel device. The Quartus® Prime software supports easy integration with supported EDA simulators for RTL and gate-level simulation. Simulating Intel designs involves setting up your simulator work environment, compiling Altera simulation model libraries, and running your simulator. The Quartus® Prime software supports automated and custom simulation flows. Use the Simulation Library Compiler to automatically compile the required simulation models.

Note: For more information about using EDA simulators, refer to Simulating Intel Designs in the Quartus® Prime Handbook.
