n-bit configuration Definition

A type of device configuration circuit in which up to eight Altera devices supported by the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software except MAX 3000 and MAX 7000 devices are simultaneously configured by an EPC4, EPC8, or EPC16 configuration device. Each bit of configuration data provided by the configuration device is directed to a separate Altera device.
