Setup Tab (SignalTap II Logic Analyzer) |
Each Trigger Conditions column represents a trigger condition for the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer. Trigger conditions allow you to define a pattern of logic conditions in the selected instance for which the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer should search and capture in sequence. For example, with multiple trigger conditions, you can direct the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer to capture data only if signal1 goes high in a clock cycle, and then goes low in the next clock cycle or a future clock cycle. You specify the number of trigger conditions in the Trigger Conditions list in the Signal Configuration pane in the Setup tab.
When you use state-based trigger flow control, you can edit the Trigger Conditions column name to create a more meaningful name.
You can define each trigger condition as Basic AND,Basic OR, or Advanced. Advanced triggers allow you to define more complex trigger conditions with the Advanced Trigger Condition Editor pane.
