Advanced tab

Specifies optional login data and saved file directory for TalkBack files. TalkBack files are text files and XML files Definition that contain limited compilation design information.

• Optional login data
  • Altera user name—Type your Altera user name in this box. You must have a myAltera account to obtain an Altera user name.
  • FAE contact name—Type the name of your Field Applications Engineer (FAE) in this box.
• Save TalkBack files—Turn on this option to save the TalkBack files locally. You can specify the directory path name by typing the directory path name in the Directory box or browse to the directory path name.

If you turn on Save TalkBack files, but do not specify the directory path in the Directory box, the TalkBack files are not saved locally.

If you turn on Save TalkBack files and specify a directory path name in the Directory box, the TalkBack files are saved locally, regardless of whether you turn on or off Enable sending TalkBack data to Altera in the Enable tab of the Quartus^® Prime Standard Edition TalkBack dialog box.
