Setting Up the Synplify Working Environment

Before using the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software with the Synopsys Synplify software, you must first install the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software, and then establish an environment that facilitates entering and processing designs. To set up the Synplify working environment:

  1. Make sure you have installed the correct versions of the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software and the Synplify software.


  2. Note:

    The Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software Release Notes are available on the Altera website Definition and provide up-to-date information on which versions of Synplify applications the current version of the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software supports. The Quartus® Prime Standard Editionreadme.txt file provides information on installation and operating requirements. You should read the Release Notes and readme.txt file before installing the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software. After installation, you can open the Release Notes and readme.txt file from the Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Help menu.
