The H3C XG310 graphics card is a single-slot, full-height, three-quarter-length PCIe Gen3 x16 form factor. This discrete server graphics card is powered by four Intel® Server GPUs. It includes 32 GB of low-power DDR4 memory at a TDP of 150W and is passively cooled, allowing airflow in both directions for flexible server chassis design.
Features
Based on Intel Xe Architecture
The Intel® Server GPU is the first discrete graphics processing unit for data centers based on the new Intel Xe architecture, which is designed to scale exponentially.
High-Density Streaming
Supports an estimated 20 Android games per Intel® Server GPU. The H3C XG310 PCIe card that integrates four Intel Server GPUs can support greater than 100 simultaneous users in a typical 2 card system and up to 160 simultaneous users.2 See
the performance page for more information.
Standard Industry Frameworks
The Intel® Server GPU supports accelerated AVC, HEVC, MPEG2, VP9 encode/decode, and AV1 decode.
High Performance per Watt
This server GPU is based on a 23W discrete system-on-chip (SoC) design with a 128-bit wide pipeline and 8 GB of dedicated low-power DDR4 memory.
Open Software Stack
Open-source software includes drivers, APIs, and developer tools such as the Intel® Media SDK, an FFmpeg plugin, and the Mesa 3D Graphics Library.
Optimized Android Cloud Gaming Software
Intel licenses software to support high-server game-stream density, game performance, and breadth of gaming title accessibility.
“With the Intel® Server GPU Gamestream can deliver the full Cloud Gaming experience for Android games in a scalable way while optimizing the resource allocation for best quality. This is an important step in the Cloud Gaming industry as this means that we can blend the delivery of PC and Android games in a fully unified user experience.”
- Lionel Adam, Vice President of Sales & Business Development at Gamestream
"As a leading cloud gaming solution provider and a key strategic partner of Intel, Ubitus is excited what the Intel Server GPU can bring to gamers. The solution can achieve a performance of up to 120 Android cloud gaming streams on a server based on Intel Xeon Scalable processors with 2 GPU cards. This is up to two times performance gain compared to Ubitus’s previous solutions. This will enable higher density and lower TCO solution for our Android cloud gaming customers, strengthen our market leading position and continue making inroads with key telecommunications companies around the world."
