EverFocus Ares128 is a network recording server included in EverFocus' cloud server system product line. Powered by dual Intel® Xeon® E5-2620 v4 processors and C612 chipset, the Ares128 widens the range of workload from general application tasks to high performance computing applications. Ares128 supports up to 12 HDDs and RAID configurations to increase the performance and reliability of data storage. The model comes with two power supplies wired in parallel, providing 1+1 redundant capability. When one power supply fails, the other power supply will take over the entire load. Moreover, Ares128 is equipped with three hot-swap fans and built-in smart fan control on the backplane to handle thermal conditions, which enables the server to work smoothly under operating temperature ranging from 10°C to 35°C.
