The Intel® Tiber™ portfolio of business solutions and support services underscores the company’s commitment to making artificial intelligence accessible, open and secure for enterprises worldwide. Intel Tiber delivers enterprise software, services and solutions for AI, cloud, trust and security, and edge. The goal is to provide enterprise developers and customers with end-to-end solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, costs and protection in their computing experience with dedicated support.
Streamlining machine learning, staying compliant with regulatory frameworks worldwide, preserving security and privacy in an ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity threats, and keeping cloud computing costs under control are top enterprise priorities. The Tiber (pronounced “tai-burr”) portfolio of business solutions addresses the industry’s top business priorities and areas of Intel leadership. It is designed to help companies accelerate innovation without compromising on security, compliance or performance, while keeping costs under control.
Historically, Intel provides all the ingredients for the industry to build systems themselves or “with” Intel. Now, Intel brings it all together with Tiber, a do-it-for-me service. Unified solutions make it easy for customers to find offerings that meet their needs, discover complementary solutions and unlock greater value for their businesses.
The Intel Tiber portfolio of solutions was announced at Intel Vision in April 2024, with a full rollout planned for the third quarter of 2024.
Solutions include:
-
Intel® Tiber™ AI Studio (formerly cnvrg.io)
-
Intel® Tiber™ App-Level Optimization (formerly Intel® Granulate)
-
Intel® Tiber™ Trust Services (formerly Intel® Trust Authority)
AI
Accelerate and scale AI on managed, cost-effective infrastructure with Intel Tiber Developer Cloud and Intel Tiber AI Studio (formerly cnvrg.io).
With Developer Cloud, users can access the latest Intel hardware and software to build and test AI, machine learning and high performance computing applications in a single environment. In addition, they can choose the accelerators that are right for their use case, including Intel CPUs, GPUs and Intel® Gaudi® 2 AI accelerators, as well as Intel pre-release hardware. Developers can start for free, with expanded services for enterprises.
AI developers can streamline the AI model lifecycle through AI Studio. The MLOps full-stack machine learning operating system provides flexibility to run AI workloads on multi-cloud environments, public clouds or on-premises resources. Developers can manage the entire AI life cycle from data preprocessing, experimentation, training, testing, versioning, deployment and monitoring all from a single control plane.

Edge
Intel Tiber Edge Platform helps simplify edge AI deployments. An edge-native commercial software platform, Edge Platform, enables enterprises to securely build, deploy, run, manage and scale edge and AI solutions on standard hardware with cloud-like simplicity. It takes a modular approach to new and existing network and edge deployments by equipping developers with built-in industry solutions, AI, applications and infrastructure software like OpenVINO™ AI run-time optimizations to deliver optimized performance and lower costs.
In addition, it is open and supports a wide range of hardware and applications from Intel and ecosystem partners, allowing developers to leverage new or existing infrastructures. Edge Platform launched at MWC Barcelona 2024.
Cloud
Intel Tiber App-Level Optimization goes beyond FinOps and app resource management to deliver a revolutionary approach to application performance optimization, dramatically improving response time by 20% and reducing processing time by 38% without changing a single line of code.1 The cloud service provides autonomous, continuous runtime-level optimization and capacity management on any type of workload. It can be deployed on any cloud, hybrid or on-premise infrastructures, and results in compute cost reduction.
When using App-Level Optimization, enterprise developers can experience quicker application launches, smoother multitasking and overall enhanced performance across varied computing tasks. It can be implemented without code changes, maintenance or configurations, and no administrative or technical overhead is needed.
Trust and Security
Modern organizations need the flexibility to run workloads and process sensitive data on infrastructure that’s trustworthy, and they need the freedom to scale across multiple environments. That is why Intel developed Intel Tiber Trust Services, starting with an attestation service designed to independently verify the authenticity and integrity of the computing environment. Enterprises can use the attestation service to help protect data, verify workloads and improve compliance from cloud to edge. It provides a single and consistent attestation that works wherever enterprise workloads run, and builds on cloud providers’ existing safeguards to scale confidential computing. It also helps organizations to stay compliant with evolving privacy and data sovereignty regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA and other regulatory frameworks, with a signed audit report.
Data is the most valuable asset, and Trust Services helps unlock the power of shared analysis while keeping sensitive data verifiably confidential – from AI-powered healthcare to financial fraud prevention.
