Package deploys tuneD custom profiles, when set, achieves best power and performance on Intel Ultra 1st Gen Linux* platforms. profile - script uses sysfs interface to write EPP/EPB register values. Values identified for Intel Ultra 1st Gen Linux platform through rigorous testing are only applicable to this platform. tuneD is a popular Linux system tuning daemon for optimizing performance and resource usage through profiles . EPP – Energy Performance Preference; EPB – Energy Performance Bias.
