Driver Installation

Checklist Prior to Driver Installation:

New

  • Fixed the Page fault issues in Level zero runtime
  • Added Error handling for few APPs which are reporting crashes. It will gracefully exit in case of error, instead of crashing
  • Resolved an issue where the Installer.exe attempts to download the .NET runtime desktop, causing installation failures in safe mode

Known Limitations

  • HW Encode is not supported in Windows Server 2019 using VMWare/Citrix Remoting VDI Agents. Raised issue with VMWare https://techpartnerhub.vmware.com/support/my-cases/00122716
  • DX12 Ultimate features are not supported on Windows Server 2019 but are enabled in this driver release. They will be disabled in future releases on Windows Server 2019 and will remain enabled on Windows Server 2022. If your Windows Server 2019 application uses DX12 Ultimate feature, we recommend you disable it (or) use DX11 paths to avoid unsupported code for this release.
