Introduction

The Intel-Basic-IB.DISTRO. 12.0.0.0.36 installation package (where DISTRO is the OS distribution) installs the Intel® Host Software components needed to setup compute, service, and login nodes on InfiniBand* networks.

Detailed Description

The IntelEth-Basic-IB.DISTRO.12.0.0.0.36.tgz installation packages (where DISTRO is the OS distribution) installs the Intel® Host Software components needed to set up compute, Service, and login nodes on InfiniBand* networks.

The installation package includes the following components:

  • Basic Tools
  • PSM3
  • kernel Module
  • OFA Debug Info

Note:

A separate EFS installation package is available for each of the supported Linux* distributions. Refer to the release notes of the version being installed for a list of supported Linux* distributions.

The IFS packaging consists of many individual RPM and SRPM components. Each component is provided with its own license file. The following is an example list (not a complete listing) of the various licenses:

In addition, a “Third-Party Copyright Notices and Licenses” document is included which provides copies of all third-party licensing that may have been used in the development of the software contained in the package.
