Purpose

This tool updates the Thunderbolt™ 3 Controller Firmware for the Intel® NUC6i7KYK Kit.

What's new in this version

  • Security enhancements

Note

For the Intel NUC Kit NUC6i7KYK, to upgrade to Thunderbolt firmware version 46, two conditions must be met:

  1. Your BIOS must be 0059 or higher.
  2. The SA# must be, H9075x-111 or higher.

If your NUC has SA#: H9075x-110 or lower, you must use Thunderbolt firmware version 27.
