5.10.1. Installing the FLEXlm License Manager Server Software on Another License Server

To install the FLEXlm license manager server software on an additional license server:
  1. On the additional license server, create a directory that mimics the location of the Altera® FPGA software:
    • Windows* 
      <installation-directory>\bin64
    • Linux
      <installation-directory>/linux64
  2. From your local computer, copy the following files from the location of the Altera® FPGA software to the new directory on the licensing server:
    • lmgrd
    • lmutil
    • alterad
    • lmtools (Windows* only)
