Intel® Kiosk Peripheral Management Utility (Intel® KPM Utility)
Overview
The Intel® Kiosk Peripheral Management Utility (Intel® KPM Utility) enables a smarter and more efficient way to deploy Intel®-based kiosk systems. The Intel KPM Utility provides tools to directly integrate into kiosk system designs, enabling more holistic monitoring and control over USB-based peripheral devices.
On kiosk systems with Intel vPro® technology, the Intel KPM Utility can remotely manage in-band peripheral devices and resolve their issues without the need to physically access the kiosk systems, which saves costly onsite IT service calls.
Reduced Downtime
Decrease potential failures and downtime with the capability to monitor, alert, and reset peripheral devices.
Improved Maintenance
Resolve operating system and application-level issues without the need to physically access kiosk systems.
Lowered Operational Expenditures
On kiosk systems with Intel vPro technology, resolve peripheral device issues remotely and minimize the costs associated with onsite visits.
