Meet the Innovators

The Intel® Software Innovator Program for Edge supports passionate people who want to create an impact and grow the developer community. As an innovator, you lead, connect, and mentor in the following activities, with support from Intel and fellow innovators:

  • Organize AI trainings and hackathons both online and in-person.
  • Create projects, demos, and content about Intel technologies that are related to AI and the OpenVINO™ toolkit.
  • Participate in Intel and community discussion forums

Chip Eligibility and Qualification

Organize an online or in-person training focused on Intel's product portfolio for IoT and the network edge. 300 + 10 Chips per attendee who completes the post event survey Submit the URL for the training page. Attendees must complete the post event survey provided by Intel.
Publish projects and demos using Intel® Technologies for IoT & Network Edge. 1,000 per project or demo Share the URL with Intel for verification.

Promote a fellow innovator’s training, content, or activity.

50 per post

Share the URL with Intel for verification.
Create and post content related to Intel® Technologies for IoT & Network Edge. 500 per content piece Share the URL with Intel for verification.

Participate in Intel and community discussion forums (for example, Stack Overflow*, GitHub* or another Intel forum).

 200 per answer Share the URL with Intel for verification.
Conduct a hackathon. 300 + 10 per attendee who completes the post-event survey Submit the URL for the hackathon. Attendees must complete the post-event survey provided by Intel.

  1. Create an Edge AI project using the OpenVINO toolkit on Github* or another platform.
  2. Submit an application.
  3. The team will review your application and contact you to set up a discovery call that includes the next steps.

Program Guidelines

Edge innovators need to comply with the following Intel social media policies and rules of engagement.

Be Transparent 

To comply with Intel's social media policy and rules of engagement, the number one priority is that you timely, clearly, and conspicuously disclose your relationship to Intel, that is, you are an Intel Software Innovator. We are committed to ensuring that our sponsored social media practitioners clearly and conspicuously disclose their relationship to Intel, including incentives and sponsorship. Please be sure that this information is readily apparent to the public and readers of each of your posts. For tweets or other written posts on platforms such as Facebook, as well as descriptions of photos on platforms like Instagram, start your post with #IntelSoftwareInnovator. If you are posting a video on a platform such as YouTube, use #IntelSoftwareInnovator on the actual video footage in the top corner of the screen, preferably at the beginning of the video, as well as including "Sponsored by Intel" above the line in the description of the video. If you are creating a podcast, in the opening line of the podcast, you should disclose the relationship, an example of wording you should use would be: "I am an Intel Software Innovator." If you receive sponsorship support from Intel, please clearly disclose by using #SponsoredByIntel. 

Innovators should make disclosures that are in a font that is easy to read and in a shade that stands out against the background. For video advertisements, disclosures need to be on the screen long enough to be noticed, read, and understood. Audio disclosures need to be read in a cadence that is easy to follow and with understandable words. 

In all activities training related, please make sure to clearly disclose your relationship to Intel as well as any sponsorship by Intel.

 

Write about Your Genuine and Authentic Experience

When posting on social media, please talk specifically about your experiences with our products and services instead of making general product claims that you are not as familiar with. Be honest and accurate.

 

Write What You Know

When creating content, we encourage you to write in the first person and stick to your area of expertise as it relates to Intel technology.

 

Your Responsibility

The content you create is your responsibility and failure to abide by these guidelines (including failure to disclose your relationship to Intel) could put your sponsorship or incentives at risk. Always follow the terms and conditions for any third-party sites in which you participate.

 

Manage Personal Data

Ensure that any personal data collected by you to support an event related to Intel complies with the applicable privacy rules and terms of use. Any personal data collected, can only be used for event related communication. All personal data should be deleted or destroyed after the event.

We are committed to transparent, truthful, and accurate representation of Intel and Intel products and services. If we find any statements or claims that are false or misleading, we will contact you for correction. If you are found to consistently and repeatedly fail to disclose your relationship with Intel to the public, or make false or misleading statements about Intel® products or services, or post content that is otherwise disparaging, defamatory, or unlawful, we may discontinue our relationship with you.
