You do not need to upgrade to the latest version of the Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility (also known as Intel® Chipset Device Software) if you are not experiencing issues with the version currently installed on your system.
The setup.exe installation will not install the utility if another version is already installed on your system. If you need to upgrade to the latest version, you will need to install the utility using the have-disk installation method.
